History of Kofi Adjei Senior High Technical

Kofi Agyei Senior High Technical School was established at Bampenase, Ashanti, the royal seat of Oyoko Breman Stool land in the Kwabre East Municipal, In September 1991 as community Technical Day School.

The School was named after a business man Mr. James Kofi Agyei due to his numerous contributions to the school’s establishment, even though he could not attend formal education due to Ten Pesewa (10.p).

The school which started with seventeen (17) students, seven Teaching Staff including the first Headmaster, Mr. James Kow Acquah Freeman of blessed memory and Two non-Teaching staff, with a landholding of about Thirty Five (35) acres.

Mmadwenma as students of Kofi Agyei are affectionately called, have in their motto: Pray and Work. The school currently is occupying about Twenty (20) acres, while improper drainage system is holding about six (6) acres and calls for attention.
