History of St. Dominic Senior High Technical, Pepease

St. Dominic’s Senior High Technical School is sourced from the Most Rev. Dominic Ando, Archbishop Emeritus of the Accra Arch Diocese. The School started in 1980 as one of the then nine (9) Regional Pilot Experimental Junior Secondary Schools and was initiated under the able, well-focused leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph Glatzel from Paris. The transitional period of the Experimental JSS to St. Dominic’s Secondary Technical School, the first of its kind in the then Kwahu South District took effect in the reign of Nana Ampadu Okyere II in 1991 who gave his blessing to the school, and the generosity of the Presbyterian Church of Pepease who released a portion of their land to the school. The school has been blessed with capable and efficient headmasters.
