St. George's Senior High Technical ()

St. George’s Catholic Senior High Technical was started as a private vocational school by Rev. Fr. Theresa Paul Amoako in 1987. The school which started on a veranda was formerly called Our Lady of the Grotto Apprenticeship and was later changed to St. George’s Catholic Senior High Technical School.

The school aimed to train and educate the youth in the community especially girls to keep them from early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and school dropout and to promote girl child education in the area. The school became a Government Assisted Senior High Technical School in the 2013/2014 Academic year. The school is located in Kuntanse, Bosomtwe District, in the Ashanti Region.
