Ghana-Lebanon Islamic School Complex (GLIS) was founded in January 2000 and commissioned in May 19, 2001. The school was commissioned by the late Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
Currently, GLIS runs the following schools, thus making it a School Complex on the same premises:
- Primary School
- Junior High School (JHS)
- Senior High School (SHS)
- Evening Arabic and Islamic School for Adults and Young Adults
- Weekend School for Children

2012 | Social Studies recorded 75 A1s, scoring 100%, with the lowest grade being B3. In the same year, Management recorded 29 A1s, also recording 100% passes, with the lowest grade being B3; Islamic Studies recorded 100% passes, with 10 A1s, and the lowest grade also being B3. | |
2013 | 95% of our students (234) qualified to progress to the tertiary educational institutions. One of the students also scored 6 A1s. | |
