In March 1956, the Accra Circuit of the Methodist Church decided to establish a Secondary School within the jurisdiction of the Accra District of the Church to serve as a fulcrum for educating the young people in the Methodist tradition and in the acquisition of a sound intellectual base which would equip these young ones to assist in the development of the church and the nation at large.
To be the fulcrum for the training of students for an all-inclusive educational experience under one umbrella of love within a congenial environment for good character formation with truthfulness being the core value, providing the necessary interventions and innovations for students to acquire a sound intellectual base for service to humanity.
The Vision of the founding fathers was for the school to be a fulcrum for the provision of quality holistic education for the youth in the Methodist tradition
