The school was a personal donation of the late Dr. Anim Addo of Abetifi, a philanthropist who also donated a four storey building to Abetifiman to be used for the school.

To mobilise and use the available resources to equip trainees with relevant technical knowledge and skills to make them self-reliant and employable so as to guarantee their entering into the world.
Vision
To make Abetifi Technical Institute a centre of excellence for the provision of technical education and training to the youth of Ghana and the world at large.
